Day 1: Airport – Tamansari Watercastle – Prambanan Temple

Your driver welcomes you at Yogyakarta International Airport and takes you into the city. Your first stop is Tamansari Water Castle, the former royal garden of the Yogyakarta Palace.

Walk through its bathing pools, underground passages and ornate gates, where Javanese, Portuguese and Chinese architecture blend together. In the afternoon, continue to Prambanan, the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia.
